About
Passionate about performance and everything it takes to get you there
For ten years, Jenny has been fully immersed in the entertainment industry working as a specialist performance and vocal physiotherapist. Based in London’s leading performing arts clinic on Harley Street, she served as the clinical lead for the BBC production of Strictly Come Dancing and worked extensively with productions in the West End and throughout the UK.
As well as her knowledge of movement and injury, Jenny is experienced in the field of voice and laryngeal manual therapy (‘vocal physiotherapy’). She has worked with a range of artists and singers across all genres as well as actors and other high vocal demand professions. Being a singer herself, she is familiar with the demands on the voice and is passionate about integrating science and mechanics into performance and artistry.
During her time in London, Jenny became well versed with the demands of performance, in both the arts and other aspects of living, and the need for accelerated rehabilitation to ensure a safe, sustainable return to full vitality. Her experience has cultivated a sensitivity for guiding people through recovery and facilitating freedom and creativity.
Inherent in Jenny’s work is a collaborative approach. She works with consultants, ENTs, speech pathologists and vocal coaches to restore full health. She prioritises communication and inclusive liaison to integrate management and achieve optimal outcome.
Jenny endeavours to support the creative arts community in all aspects and is excited to see the growth of this sector.
